The LET IT FLY SHOW is a weekly sports podcast that connects fans to their favorite athletes and brings listeners never heard before stories, exclusive content, special guest appearances, and deep conversations covering all Nebraska sports and the top storylines from around the world.
On the heels of a potentially historic year for Creighton men’s basketball, the inaugural LET IT FLY SHOW will take a deep dive into the team with all-access, behind-the-scenes content and allow fans to ask the coaches and players questions.
Hosts Mike’l Severe and Josh Jones are no strangers to the local sports scene.
Mike’l Severe has thirty years of experience as a television and radio broadcaster. Severe is a former co-host of “Unsportsmanlike Conduct”, the number one afternoon show in Omaha. He also founded The Bottom Line radio show at the Omaha World-Herald and has hosted “Big Red Wrap Up” for the past three seasons, providing a weekly recap of each Husker football game.
Josh Jones is an Omaha native with a big passion for basketball and the community. He was a star student athlete at Omaha’s Central High School where he was a three-time state champion and the school’s all-time leader in career points. During his collegiate career, Jones was a top reserve for Creighton and part of the team that won back-to-back conference tournament championships along with two automatic NCAA tournament bids.
